Tossing For Valor Bags Tournament
Kick off 2026 with Valor Support Project’s first major event of the year — the Tossing for Valor Bags Tournament! Join us for an exciting afternoon filled with competition, community, and purpose. Every throw helps fuel our mission of supporting veterans, first responders, and their families.
This is a Bring Your Own Partner tournament with a fun and competitive format. All teams will play 4 games of round robin to determine bracket seeding, and every team is guaranteed 6 games—so you’re sure to get plenty of tosses in!
With a 70% payout, this event offers great competition for seasoned players while still being welcoming for newcomers looking to play with purpose.
Signups begin at 2 PM and bags fly at 3 PM.
Entry is $40 per team, with proceeds directly benefiting the Valor Support Project’s programs and outreach.

2nd Annual Valor Skydive: PTSD Awareness Jump
On June 26, 2026, the Valor Support Project is hosting the 2nd Annual Valor Skydive, a special event honoring those who have fought-and are still fighting-the battle with PTSD. This day is about camaraderie, connection, and healing-giving veterans a chance to step away from daily stressors, bond with fellow service members, and experience the thrill of skydiving in a supportive environment. daily stresses, bond with fellow service members, and experience the thrill of skydiving in a supportive and uplifting environment.
How You Can Help
We believe every veteran who wants to participate should have the chance, and you can make that possible. By sponsoring a veteran for $250, you will cover the cost of their jump and lunch.
We are also holding a lottery, where 5-6 veterans will have the chance to jump for free. If we receive enough sponsorships, we will draw even more winners, working toward our goal of ensuring every veteran who signs up can enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience without financial worry.
This event is more than just skydiving-it's about honoring our heroes, fostering connections, and reminding them they are never alone.

2nd Annual Running For Valor 5k
June 27th is more than just race day — it’s PTSD Awareness Day, a day that holds deep meaning for us.
This year, we will jump the day before and run the day of in honor of all those who have fought the battle of PTSD — for those still fighting and for those who have won the battle.
Every step is for awareness.
Every mile is for hope.
Every runner is running with purpose.

Join us for a special Culver's Serve Night hosted by Valor Support Project, where 10% of all sales will be donated to support our local veterans and military. 2nd Annual Veterans Day Dinner
Treat yourself to a dinner with a pulled pork sandwhich, baked beans and choice of potato salad or coleslaw, drinks provided by Scooter's coffee and for dessert a delicious cupcake. There will be a silent auction as well full of great gifts and baskets brought to you from our sponsors.
Plates will be $10 per. All proceeds from this dinner will be put back into our organization to help veterans in need in our area.

OPERATION VALOR: DEPLOYMENT DRIVE
THE VALOR SUPPORT PROJECT TEAM IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE A ONE-NIGHT DONATION EVENT ON MARCH 28, 2025, FROM 5 PM TO 8 PM AT THE ROCK FALLS AMERICAN LEGION, AIMED AT SUPPORTING THE DIXON, AURORA, AND PONTIAC CAV UNITS CURRENTLY STATIONED IN AFRICA UNTIL JULY. WITH APPROXIMATELY 130 SOLDIERS IN NEED OF ESSENTIAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS, YOUR GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS CAN TRULY MAKE A MEANINGFUL IMPACT. JOIN US AS WE UNITE TO GATHER NECESSARY ITEMS AND SHOW OUR APPRECIATION FOR THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN WHO PROTECT AND SERVE. Toss For Valor Cornhole Tournament
Join us on February 22nd at Parties on Pope for the Toss for Valor Veteran Fundraiser Cornhole Tournament! Registration starts at 11 AM for $20 per person, with the tournament kicking off at noon in a switchholio format. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and don't miss the chance to participate in a 50/50 raffle. Enjoy delicious pulled pork sandwiches and bags of chips for just $7, provided by Providing Hope Ministries. All proceeds will support our local veterans and first responders.
